The end is nigh…..well, the end of this year anyway!!
I love this time of year, looking back at the outstanding work of the team and clients. There is a great feeling of satisfaction, in being part of a great team here and, working with some fantastic clients.
Now is the time that we can take a step back, take stock, and, just catch our breath – get everything fresh and in order for the New Year.
We‘ve been to 12 different countries, driven over 750,000 miles, (almost 5,000 of which were under water – work that one out……..) the record breaker in terms of distance this year was Singapore where some poor unfortunate members of the Ops team had to spend nearly two weeks in this fantastic location.
As always, the first major event in the calendar is Mobile World Congress in sunny Barcelona, great show with some fantastic stands showcasing some of the biggest brands in the world.

Summer saw us attend the fantastic 51st Paris Air Show with a record breaking 8 artic vehicles full of our furniture. With 2’215 exhibitors, I’m excited to see what the coming Farnborough Air Show will bring.
Sporting events have been a real high point, with VIP guests sampling the comfort and style we can provide.
We’ve been fortunate enough to supply some of the largest, most prestigious events in the calendar Rugby World Cup, ATP Tennis, Grand Prix, Champions league, Cheltenham Gold Cup…to name a few.
It’s always fun & satisfying to see our furniture on the TV, and, it’s even more satisfying when the clients express their delight with the standard of the furniture and the service they receive – our manufacturing division really excelled with some fantastic bespoke designs.

Official shows have gone from strength to strength, our furniture enhances the ambience of the show for exhibitors and visitors alike, we have long standing relationships with many shows and, we are constantly re-vitalising our offer for both existing and new.
2015 saw the long standing London Book Fair move to its new venue of Olympia, Food Matters deliver excellent growth in its 2nd year and, World Travel Market smashed its attendance record along with our furniture presence.
Concept Furniture has seen some changes throughout the year. We said goodbye to Anthony Cocum our Financial Direct/Joint Business Owner in August with the current Managing Director, Justin Gray, taking full ownership of the business.
We have welcomed new member to the team, our new Finance Manager, Nathan Holtby and Sales Executive Lauren Tolley. As part of our on-going expansion program, we have also invested in new vehicles & premises.
There are still many familiar faces at Concept who you will see around and be speaking with daily. I would like to thank them all for their hard work and dedication allowing Concept Furniture to grow and continue to be a success.
For those who have visited our premises you might have noticed our swish new cladding – for those who haven’t yet visited us…Why not? I would like to welcome you to visit our premises, meet the team, sample our products first hand and experience our capabilities.
